CCT was founded in 2026 by a group of Research Science Institute (RSI) Scholars to cut through the noise surrounding summer programs and college admissions.
Samantha an incoming freshman at Stanford University intending to major in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Public Health. As a Research Science Institute (RSI) scholar at MIT, she conducted research in machine learning for medical image analysis. She has also conducted research in quantum computing at the University of Arizona and is a Summer Science Program (SSP) alumnus for astrophysics.
Samantha is from a rural community on the U.S.-Mexico border and is passionate about service. She started a nonprofit for fieldworkers and a club for medical outreach.
Outside of academics, she works as a Certified Nursing Assistant, owns a ramen shop, and is team captain for Swimming and Track & Field.
Chelsy is an incoming freshman at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology intending to major in Biology. As a Research Science Institute (RSI) scholar at MIT, she conducted research in microstate patterns across brain regions during sleep. She has also conducted research at Emory University in Parkinson's disease and prion-like proteins.
As President of Student Government and 5x Georgia Music Educator's Association (GMEA) All-State singer, Chelsy is devoted to leadership, advocacy, and music.
Outside of academics, she serves on the praise team at her church, volunteers as a medical assistant at her local family clinic, and sings with her a capella group.
Iris is an incoming freshman at Harvard University intending to concentrate in Applied Mathematics. As a Research Science Institute (RSI) scholar at MIT, she conducted research in reinforcement learning and humanoid locomotion. She has also conducted research at Brown University for three years in applied mathematics and data science, serving as a co-author on a research paper and presenting as a first author at conferences. She is an alumna of the Stanford University Mathematics Camp (SUMaC).
Her academic honors include Science Olympiad National Champion, 5-time AIME Qualifier, National French Exam Perfect Score, and 4-time state math champion.
Outside of academics, Iris is a competitive figure skater, competing internationally as a two-time World Junior Theatre on Ice Champion.
